For over three decades, ‘Just Books’ has operated as a leading and popular secondhand bookseller in Cornwall. The original bookshop was situated in Pydar Mews, Truro, when the shop stopped trading in 2023, the business then operated primarily as an online bookseller, for a year. However in 2024, we made the decision to return to ‘brick and mortar’ bookselling, opening ‘Just Books’ bookshop in St. Georges Arcade, Falmouth.
The Falmouth shop has 2 floors, but it is small and we believe it is ‘Probably the smallest bookshop in Cornwall’, nevertheless we do try and keep it well stocked of vintage and collectable books, with particular interest in Art, Cornwall and Children’s literature as well as a good range of preloved books in other subjects, including Biography, Folklore, Military History, Humour, Maps, Natural History, Travel, Transport, Vintage Fiction and much more.

The official summer holidays are with us and you will find us open most afternoons except Wednesday or Sundays, however we will also be closed on the August bank holiday Monday.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the shop is closed on Friday 11th July, as my wife has been given an offer at very short notice of needed cataract surgery due to a cancellation by another patient. Sorry for any inconvenience.
